Your email
Send it with one click using the email buttons below, or copy each part and paste it into a new message.
These open a new message with the addresses, subject and message filled in. You may be asked to sign in first. On a phone, or if one does not open, use the copy buttons above.
This copy of the page can't record emails in the community count. To be counted, use speak-up-elwood.vercel.app (opens in a new tab).

Mail a Letter
A printed, signed letter stands out in a legislator's office. Print one for each legislator, sign it, and mail it. Letters use the same verified message as the email, so if you already wrote one, any edits you made carry over.
Your Legislators - Call Them!
Your email goes to the three legislators who represent Elwood and to the legislative leaders who decide which school funding bills move forward. If you can, call them too. A phone call takes about two minutes, and offices keep track of every one. A staff member will usually answer. Share your name, that you live in Elwood, and your message. Pick who you are calling, then read the script.
Legislator names, positions, email addresses and phone numbers are updated daily. Last confirmed .
Office lines are answered during business hours, Monday through Friday. If no one answers, leave a short voicemail with your name, that you live in Elwood, and your request.
Sources behind every email
Each email is built only from these sources. Every number is checked against them before you see it.
